Type of roller bearings
MinebeaMitsumi roller bearings are broadly divided into three types.
The order of moment rigidity is cross bearings < double-row angular bearings < axial / radial bearings.
Cross Roller Bearing
This bearing consists of cylindrical rollers arranged in a row at 90° angles to each other.
Double-row angular roller bearing
This bearing has two rows of cylindrical rollers arranged side by side.
Axial / radial bearings ( three roller bearings )
This bearing consists of two rows of cylindrical rollers arranged in the axial direction and one row in the radial direction.

Roller bearings support loads through line contact, making them more resistant to heavy loads than ball bearings. By adopting a structure that combines two rows of axial rollers and one row of radial rollers, we have achieved a highly rigid bearing that can withstand loads from all directions, including vertical, horizontal, and inclined directions relative to the shaft.

This contributes to improved positioning accuracy and reduced rotational runout, contributing to stable operation. Easy installation and preload management
Our axial and radial bearings are designed to ensure efficient and accurate installation at your site.
There is no need to use special mounting methods such as press fitting or shrink fitting, which are common with many conventional cross roller bearings.
This "preload management by screw fastening" structure is particularly beneficial when handling large bearings. Press-fitting or shrink-fitting large parts is highly challenging in terms of both equipment and work, but by using a screw fastening method, on-site installation becomes much easier and also reduces installation time.
