Armature Pull in Time

For an excitation-actuated clutch or brake, this specifies the time between the application of coil current and the generation of torque as the armature pulls in, bringing the frictional surfaces into contact. For a non-excitation-actuated clutch or brake, this specifies the time for the torque to reach the drag torque or zero.
