Overview
A greater emphasis has been placed on the design of notebook PCs, tablets and other devices in recent years, and accordingly an integrated (fixed) battery design without a battery pack is becoming mainstream to help increase battery capacity. If an integrated battery system is adopted, the use of <MM3625> allows the RTC control circuit to be energized directly from the main battery, and the conventional power supply coin type battery can be eliminated.
The RTC control circuit no longer needs to be installed separately, which helps to reduce the number of parts and power consumption, as well as making it easier to develop a system that can monitor each cell.
Features
- Built-in regulator and reset circuit to supply power from the main battery to the RTC control circuit.
- The regulator turns OFF if the main battery voltage decreases and switches to low consumption current mode. Switching modes helps prevent depletion of the battery as much as possible.
- Used for the compact. low-height type PLP-10A package.
