This series features a hybrid type stepping motor equipped with a non-excited operation type electromagnetic brake.
Normally, motors can still rotate due to external pressure even when the power is off. By installing an electromagnetic brake at the rear of the motor shaft, it prevents drag from vertical axes and increases the detent torque when the motor is stationary. Furthermore, the integration of the motor and brake contributes to reducing the required installation space.
A separate DC24V power supply is needed for the brake, independent of the motor's power supply.
Features
・Electromagnetic brake-integrated type that holds the load and prevents drag when stopped under external pressure.
・Brake torque (static friction torque): 300 mN·m
・Power ON: Brake release, Power OFF: Brake lock
*A separate power supply (DC24V) is required for the brake, independent of the motor power supply.
